Open Play

EE Robinson Park

Because this is the oldest location in Gwinnett, it's still the spiritual home of pickleball in Gwinnett. There are 6 dedicated, individually fenced courts.  We have courts reserved for open play on:

For these times, no reservation necessary; just come join us.  At other times, the courts at EE Robinson are generally first-come, first-served, but you can reserve courts here for a nominal fee. There are folks there playing pretty much every morning and evening when the weather is dry and over 40 degrees, so come on out!

To stay in communication with players here, there are two GroupMe groups, based on time of play.

Rise & Shine Pickleballers
This group plays primarily on weekday mornings at EE Robinson from about 9-noon.

EE Robinson Pickleball Addicts
This group plays primarily evenings and weekends at EE Robinson.

Bay Creek Park (Loganville)

This group has open play scheduled on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 5:30, and Saturday mornings at 9am.  They use 4 temporary nets; 2 per lined tennis court.

Their GroupMe group is "Pickleball - Bay Creek Park".

Bunten Road Park (Duluth)

This group plays M/W/F at 6:30 pm. It's a very casual, friendly, welcoming group. The courts use lines on tennis courts, using the tennis net.

Rhodes Jordan Park (Lawrenceville)

Tuesdays from 6:00-9:00 pm are open play on Courts 1-4.  All skill levels welcome.

On Sunday @ 9:00 am, a group meets and I hear there's a wide variety of skill levels represented.

George Pierce Park (Suwanee)

The gym has open play on certain weekdays, but they refuse to publish a calendar. You have to call or go by the gym after the 1st of the month to see what the schedule is for that month. It's silly, but it's an option. The Rise & Shine Pickleballers group above is used to for this location, as it's generally the same group of people, and they play at George Pierce when it's too cold/hot/wet to play at EER.

More Than Pickleball

MTP offers 9 indoor courts and is located next to the Mall of GA, on Woodward Crossing Blvd.  They also offer table tennis (ping pong), and have a dedicated stretching area. The pro-shop has a nice variety of paddles available to try before purchasing, too!

They offer open play, leagues, and tournaments on a regular basis.  Instructors offer group and individual lessons, from novice to advanced players. Memberships are available on a pay as you play basis, or for unlimited open play, but membership is not required.

Check their calendar for scheduling and membership info.

Pickle & Social

P&S is located at The Exahnge near the Mall of GA (just the other side of I-85 from the mall).  They have 6 indoor and 10 outdoor courts, PLUS a full restaurant and bar, table tennis, cornhole, etc.  Memberships are available (and offer nice benefits), but are not required.

They offer open play, plus group and individual lessons, for everyone from brand new players to advanced competitors.  Check their calendar for schedule info.

Leagues

We're running ladder leagues on Sunday afternoons at Rhodes Jordan Park through Pickleball Den.  We have time slots at 2pm and 6pm.  We also have some events on Thursday evenings at EE Robinson (6:30pm), but that format can vary a bit.

FORMAT: These events are played as an individual, and you rotate partners each game. You can click here to learn more about how to join us.

Other events

Round Robins

On the 1st Thursday of each month (typically), we will run a round robin through DUPR at EE Robinson. This is open to players of all skill levels, but you need a DUPR rating first (it's free and easy).

FORMAT: These events are played with a fixed partner of your choosing. We can handle 12 pairs, and try to split into 2 pools of 6 teams, so you play 5 games for seeding purposes, then the top 4 go into playoffs. You can click here to learn more.  Registration is through our DUPR club page.
