Open Play

Below is a list of all known open play times at public parks within Gwinnett County (county or city courts).  If you know of others, please let me know and I'll update this page.

EE Robinson Park

Because this is the oldest location in Gwinnett, it's still the spiritual home of pickleball in Gwinnett. There are 6 dedicated, individually fenced courts.  We have courts reserved for open play on:

• Tuesdays 6-11 pm all 6 courts  
  NOTE:  the lights are out of service as of July 2026, so only daylighty play is available.

• M/W/F mornings  9-noon on all courts.  Tu/Th mornings are also defacto open play times, though reservations are available.

For these times, no reservation necessary; just come join us.  At other times, the courts are first-come, first-served, but you can reserve courts here for a nominal fee. There are folks there playing pretty much every morning and evening when the weather is dry and over 40 degrees, so come on out!

To stay in communication with players here, there are two GroupMe groups, based on time of play.

Rhodes Jordan Park

There are 6 dedicated, individually fenced courts.  We have courts reserved for open play on:

• Tuesdays 6-9 pm all 6 courts

• Sunday mornings  8-noon on all courts

6 dedicated, individually fenced courts courts opened in June 2026.  We have courts reserved for open play on:

• Wednesdays 6-10 pm all 6 courts

• Tu/Th/F/Su mornings  9-noon on all courts

West Gwinnett Pickleball Weekday Mornings
The name is self-explanatory. :)  (link coming soon)

Bay Creek Park (Loganville)

This group has open play scheduled on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 5:00, and Saturday mornings at 9am (or earlier in the heat).  They use 4 temporary nets; 2 per lined tennis court.

Bunten Road Park (Duluth)

This group plays M/W/F/Su at 6:00 pm (or a bit earlier sometimes). It's a very casual, friendly, welcoming group. The courts use lines on tennis courts, using the tennis net.

Rhodes Jordan Park (Lawrenceville)

Tuesdays from 6:00-9:00 pm 
Sundays from 8:00-11:00 am

Open play used all 6 courts.  All skill levels welcome.

• Tuesdays from 6:00-9:00 pm 

• Sundays from 8:00-11:00 am

George Pierce Park (Suwanee)

The gym has open play on certain weekdays. They do not publish a calendar online, so players can call (678-277-0910) or go by the gym after the 1st of the month to get a paper copy of the schedule.  

Other events

Round Robins

Gwinett Pickleball Club runs a round robin on the 1st Thursday of each month (unless that's a holiday). We play with fixed partners (unlike the ladder leagues, where we rotate partners).  We alternate play between EE Robinson and Rhodes Jordan parks. These are open to players of all skill levels.

Registration is done through Pickleball Den, and the event will be visible to GPC members.

Courts 5-7 are always available for open play; 8-10 may be reserved.

Tuesday 6-9pm  Beginners & 3.0 ONLY
