I'm truly so glad that peple enjoy GPC events so much that they want to sign-up for every one of them, but that's not how the club is structured, so before going further, let's review what GPC is about.
If you're inclinded to say "I paid to be in the club so I should be able to signup whenever I want to"
We're all adults here, and this club can only operate smoothly if we all take responsibility for our signup actions. Below is a list of rules that players need to abide by. Frankly many of them should go without saying, but here they are none. We will use software tools to enforce these rules as we can, but violators may be unceremoneously removed from events for repeated non-compliance. Ain't nobody got time for that. ;)
We are a club of players, not simply a league run by some random business.
Sundays are PRIME TIME for our club. Which ever time slot has the most favorable weather fills up FAST. If you find yourself playing in the prime time slot every week, I would urge you to consider allowing other club members the opportunity to play. Some people work and can't signup between 2:00 and 2:01 every Thursday. So if you've played in the prime time slot the last couple weeks, please consider waiting a few hours to signup the next time. Or maybe find another place to play every few weeks.
Only signup more than 24 hours ahead of an event once per week (Sunday to Saturday).
If players would like to play in additional events in a given week, you may only signup for the second event less than 24 hours ahead of the second event. This includes waitlists.
Players may not signup early for two events in a week because they know they'll be unavailable the following week. A players personal plans do not give them additional priority over other players.
Only signup for one event per day.
If you are found to be on the confirmed list for two events in the same day (for more than an hour), you will be removed from both events. Management cannot be responsible for determining which one you prefer, so you will be removed from both and can sign-up again for whichever you prefer.
If you're not confirmed for any event one day, feel free to put yourself on multiple waitlists, but only do this is you can actively manage your signups and remove yourself from the second waitlist as soon as you are confirmed to one event. If you are found to be on a waitlist in addition to being on a confirmed list, you will be removed from the waitlist, but players should be managing this themselves. If management needs to remove you more than occasionally, you may be subject to temporary restriction from ladder events.
If you played in an earlier event one day and would like to play in the later event, you may add yourself to that event no more than one hour before the event. This helps ensure that other players still have an opportunity to signup, but helps ensure we don't have empty slots if there are interested players.
Players will use their real name in all club software (Pickleheads, GroupMe, and any other). We are a community of local players, not a faceless gaming Discord server.
Players will use a recognizable photograph (or image) for their profile photo. See above.
