Gwinnett Pickleball Club
Welcome! This page is maintained by Brian Garrett, one of several Ambassadors for USA Pickleball in Gwinnett County, GA.
This isn't intended to be an exhaustive reference, but rather a place for me to drop links that I hope will be helpful.
We welcome players from all over the northeast metro area, but are focusing on pickleball players in Duluth, Norcross, Suwanee, Lilburn, Snellville, Lawrenceville, Sugar Hill, and throughout Gwinnett County.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for me, please shoot an email.

Are you new to pickleball?
We've got lots of good info on this site, but the best place to start is our "I'm new, what now?" page. Click here to learn more.
Connect With Other Players
Pickleball is such a social sport that communication among player is key. Click here to see what apps I have found to be useful for group communication.

Tournaments & Leagues
Competition drives us to be better. Yes, open play with your friends is fun, but only under the pressure of competition do we learn where our true strengths and weaknesses are, so we can aim to be better.
Ladder Leagues
We're running a ladder on Sunday evenings. The goal here is to have people play with others of similar skill. As you win/lose, you move up/down the ladder. There is no "winner" here, just a way to organize play by skill, so that you know you'll have good games when you come out, instead of the uncertainty of open play, where you may play with people significantly above or below your skill level.
Click here to see how to join our ladder.
Tournaments
The tournament scene in GA has exploded, and it seems like there are tournaments at least 2-3 weekends a month within striking distance of Gwinnett.
PickleballTournaments.com is the official tournament site of USA Pickleball, and is the largest of the tournament hosting sites.
Pickleball Brackets is a smaller site, but there are lots of GA tournaments listed here.
Professional Tours
There are two competing professional tours. The PPA is the more prominent of the two at the moment, with the top players contracted to play with them. The APP is a great tour with tremendous talent, and more tour stops than the PPA.
Both tours have stops in the Atlanta area. If you get a chance to go watch the pros in person, definitely go!!!
